When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Nothing, the hotel was disgusting, firstly when we arrived we got told their was a problem with the room so had to walk nearly half a mile away to Grainger apartments, when we finally found it the room was a disgrace,

The room absolutely stunk, the towels were all fraid the shower/wet room the flooring wasn’t fit properly and the water from the shower didn’t flow to the drain and sat across the whole room as you can see in the pictures below. Disgraceful.

large rooms and bathrooms, lovely restaurant and the bar was so well priced!
Negative section of review
the parking is difficult as you can’t pre book - we booked a space nearby for the same price and I’m glad we did as on arrival there were no spaces at the hotels and the cars are parked everywhere so I wouldn’t have felt my car was secure
Positive section of review
The location is good for easy access to the city centre and ferry terminals.

The cost of parking per night is astronomical, £15 per night. You can park in West Quay for 24 hours, costing £6. Breakfast was £16.95 for one person. The staff weren't friendly or organised. Some tables were piled full of dirty plates. The food was pretty average for the price. Checking in is painfully slow compared to other hotels that have self check in or fully digital systems.

Black mould near the window in the room and window vent was broken, so I couldn't close it. Dusted on the shelves where you put your clothes. Air con was messed up. The door to the room was on it way out and was ratting when people walked by, and when you close it, it felt like it could be easier open from the outside. We couldn't change the room cause they were fully booked. We stayed here before and had no problems but this time wasn't a good experience. The staff was nice and said they would shut the room off after we told them.

The staff were really nice and helpful
Negative section of review
The room was disappointing. It was really tired and dated and wasn’t clean. There were holes in the doors and everything was shabby. The sofa bed was awful and was not able to sleep on it and the shower didn’t work.
