The age and history of The Vine was fascinating. Also the location was ideal for everything Stafford has to offer.

Finding the hotel & car park was slightly confusing. One phone call to the hotel and everything was fine.

Room and hotel very shabby for what we paid, bed was very lumpy with hard pillows, bathroom was also shabby. Shower leaked and the bathroom was in need of refurbishment and the room. The whole hotel was in a poor state and needs refurbishing.

I need to have wall sockets near the bed for breathing device. they were all om the other side of the room. No extension cords. left a pair of prescription glasses there and I left an email the same day with the room number and it took two days to get back to me and then they just said they would let me know. I haven't heard.

Delicious food at the HarBAR on 6.

Harbour Hotel Southampton promised a luxurious stay but fell short of expectations in several key areas. Upon arrival, the valet parking was a nice touch, but the experience quickly took a downward turn. Despite requesting an early check-in, our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2 pm. We decided to have lunch at the HarBAR on the 6 restaurant while waiting, but the noise level in the lounge area made conversation nearly impossible. The food, however, was a highlight of our stay. The pizza and duck salad were both delicious and satisfying. However, the lack of communication from the reception regarding our room's readiness was disappointing. It wasn't until we enquired after 3 pm that we were informed our room was available, which left us feeling neglected. Entering the room, we were met with further disappointment. The bed was uncomfortable, the room poorly lit, and the Wi-Fi signal was abysmal, rendering the TV practically unusable. Despite having a lovely balcony with a view, the inclement weather prevented us from enjoying it. Our dinner experience at HarBAR on the 6 was another letdown. The live DJ created an excessively loud atmosphere, making it impossible to enjoy a peaceful meal. Despite expressing our concerns to the manager, we were met with indifference. Breakfast also failed to impress, further contributing to our overall dissatisfaction. Upon checkout, our attempts to speak with the manager were thwarted as they were reportedly unavailable. In conclusion, Harbour Hotel Southampton did not live up to its purported five-star status. From communication mishaps to subpar amenities and noisy dining experiences, our stay was a massive disappointment. It's a shame that such potential was overshadowed by these shortcomings.
