Nothing ,cancelled on me day before due after booking ferry etc . Offered us there sister hotel which we accepted had little choice .brunswick seemed ok staff was accommodating as were early was waiting to check in . paid for 2 breakfast cost over 30 pounds as was big breakfast still not worth that much in my opinion.

Looked like nice spot downstairs . Dining room and staff seemed pleasant . Was deflated when we got to the room . 2 mismatched bed bases looked ready for the tip. Bashed up lamp , paper peeling of walls . Sprayed so much air fresher could hardly breath . Carpets were dirty so was mirrors and windows . We asked for a refund and checked out and luckily found another place . Invested in the rooms it could be marvelous due to the location etc . Room was more like junk shop .

Great location, close to train station, and close to the centre via the York museum garden that is opposite the hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, well stocked mini bar and good range of quality toiletries in the bathroom

Our sink in the toilet does not work properly. It takes hours for the water to drain after brushing your teeth which was a bit inconvenience.

This property, is located down an ally of the main street, there are no working out door lights. Outside the property there were over filled bins, with obvious signs of vermin activity, filthy mattresses lying on the ground and it was a dumping ground for old fridge freezer. The internal staircase was extremely tight and we had to come down sideways, definitely would be unsuitable for anyone who is unstable on their feet. The property was supposed to be equipped with a hair dryer, but despite contacting the management who suggested that it could be in several locations, no hairdryer was found. The shower entrance was very narrow due to the location of a radiator and both the sink and shower drained very slowly

They wanted £10 for using leisure facilities on top of 95 to stay. Noise from the bar next door was unreal, soundproof the building. Woken by housekeeping. Surely they should have a list of rooms leaving.
