The Tiger Inn is situated in a delightful village ideally located for walking and exploring the area. We stayed in Grace which overlooks the green. It was very peaceful, the bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom met all requirements, and both were extremely clean. The breakfast was very good offering a full English and even poached eggs on a bed of spinach. Staff very friendly. Would have no hesitation in staying again.

I rented this for my parents who were visiting Edinburgh. They absolutely loved the property. It's a well maintained and clean period building conveniently located for access into the city centre while being quiet enough to catch a good snooze. My parents said the bed was incredibly comfortable and they loved the shutters on the living room windows.

Great location, excellent facilities, great price, breakfast included. Parking... The list goes on. Absolutely thrilled to have found such a good but reasonable option near Heathrow.

Room was a little hot. The door into breakfast was VERY well hidden and could benefit from more signage.

Decent breakfast. Comfortable room. Good views from the room windows

The bath was dangerous. I put in the water and as I stepped into the bath my foot slipped in the bath and I fell into the bath. Worst was to come when I tried to get out of the bath as it was so slippery that I could not get up as my feet slid along the bottom of the bath. I managed to grab a towel and put under my feet to get some traction but even so the towel just slipped along with me. Eventually, after 20 minutes, I managed to turn over on to my knees and get out. I reported it to reception who said that the company does not leave bath mats in the room but they are available from reception. A bit too late for me! There was no indication in the room that bath mats were available.

The location was superb, and staff were really friendly and helpful.

All I can think of which has nothing to do with the hotel in itself is there’s a lot of construction work going on out side in to the night so it can be loud, but all you really need is some ear plugs.

Central location, exceptionally clean, easy check in

A little bit noisy but that didn't bother me but just realise you are above a pub if you don't like noise

The bedroom is so full of things to help make stay enjoyable it is too full. Very comfortable bed but it would be better if standard double in the room so more space around it. Perhaps put television on wall opposite bed as difficult to watch on the side.
