We have been charged twice! I received the Booking.com rate (£59) and when the hotel added the breakfast charge they put through another £59! As yet the hotel does not accept this has happened despite showing them the charges on my bank account! I am in direct communication with them Tring to resolve the matter

Location good for ICC which we attended. Pub attached to it which served food, also a garage and shop next door. Tea, coffee and kettle in room. Also iron. Good value accommodation.

Food was okay. Breakfast was good. Rooms a bit tired looking although was clean. Was okay for the price, but garden centre across the road from premises was tempting me to spend lots of money. (Love my garden).

Very clean, great layout. Had everything you needed. Great location, very close to the centre. Would recommend and when we come back will look to book there again.

Shower needs looking at in En suite. Shower tray filled with water and wasn't draining away quickly enough, it was in danger of overflowing onto floor so had to turn water off. Maybe look at the plumbing. Other than that everything was excellent 👌

The toilet been separate to the shower and sink and the sink been in the main part of the room. I found its ok for 1 person but wouldn't recommend it for a couple or family

The hotel needs updating, decor was timeworn and drab. we were first allocated a side annex room which had old furniture, textured ceiling finish and the only window largely obscured by furniture so very gloomy. We asked to be moved and we were moved without argument to the main building where the room was better but still dated.

We got woken up very early by a lot of shouting from next door as it sounded like there were a lot of men next door to us no respect for anyone around them at all. Have never really had a problem every time I’ve stayed but that has put me off staying again now
