Really nice property over all. Fantastic entrance and dining room. Very polite and helpful staff helped us arrange our vehicles to be first out in the morning. Continental breakfast was available from 7 and very kindly offered for free. Short walk to local supermarket and a couple of pubs nearby. 40 minute walk into the city centre which was OK for a group of 30 somethings. Comfortable beds at the end of a long day.

Room itself was a little dated and our bathroom door didn't close properly. Would have preferred an extra couple of pillows in the wardrobe just in case.

The view from the hotel is exceptional. The fact you can walk down to the beach is a great bonus. The twin room was a good size, very clean and comfy. Very understated decoration, reasonable selection of tea/coffee in the room. Staff were all very lovely and helpful. Evening meal in the restaurant was good. Bar drinks not too expensive for a hotel.

Parking is a nightmare. Hotel has lost some of its character over the years. 1st came many years ago as a kid & have visited a few times since. Not all the changes are necessarily for the better. Breakfast was so so, somehow not satisfying. Main issue - and not the hotel's fault - is lack of staff.

The flat was well equipped and very comfortable. We really appreciated the extra touches including the provision of some food. We felt the host and manager of the flat were keen to ensure everything went well.

Although we realised parking wouldn't necessarily be easy on a high street we found that it was harder than anticipated and therefore not very convenient with a car.

Spacious, private, generally quiet in day time, the hot tub was good and car parking by the lodge was helpful. Decent WiFi. The local area is quite nice. Bar/eatery on site looked nice but never used.

Extremely noisy at night with strange noises from the building we could never figure out apart from maybe rafters moving or something like heat changes ...kept us awake a lot or disturbed sleep ...made it sound like people walking round loudly. Big reason for not considering returning again. Generally clean but found someone's knickers on the patio when arrived randomly. Ended up putting them in the bin.

Great size apartment, spotlessly clean. The bed was sooooo comfy! Location was brilliant right in the center of town. Communication from Sam was brilliant.

It was very noisy, due to hot weather and the beer garden at the back of the apartment being busy, but if you want a center location its the risk.
