This is mine and my partners go to but very disappointed this stay was put in the dungeons , no lift working got lost every trip out , room was boiling which knocked us both I’ll , windows didn’t open I’ve paid a lot less for better rooms , understand they were busy but I was told to check back later if not happy to be given a fan and a lecture off another staff member , the bathroom flooded and soaked my clothes , toilet made noise all night and we were where all staff were in n out so very noisy , couldn’t wait to leave and gutted we wasted money we don’t have for an awful restless night

The location is stunning, the views from the windows especially sunset. Very equipt for an enjoyable stay plus love the freedom of the key safe into your cottage and the code for the gate for access. Louise popped her head in to say hello which was lovely.

Personally, I think the cottage would benefit from a smart TV as the channels are limited when you just want to relax in front of the TV. I would prefer the shower curtain be along the bath rather than circular as we found it very claustrophobic.

Location is so central and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The breakfast can use more variety. Also breakfast area was small and couldn't accommodate everyone. But all in all it was great, fresh, and super clean.

Pretty hotel and grounds, we enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi. Beds were very big and super comfortable and rooms were spacious with a large bath. We paid for a full body massage and it was well worth it!

We stayed for 3 nights and on the second day out the sign on the door asking for our room to be cleaned. We went out and returned to find that our room still hadn’t been cleaned even after 3pm. We phoned reception to ask for more toilet roll and fresh towels and found we had to phone twice as they didn’t arrive the first time.

Top floor room, many stairs and no lift, out of action for quite some time. Noisy at night with loud conversations right outside our room at midnight, no sound proofing. And very expensive for one night stay.
