The whole apartment and experience was perfection. I contacted the host and within 20 minutes I had the keys via an in person meeting. I was shown around and everything was explained. The breakfast and essential items were a lovely touch. The place was impeccable clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Excellent location and the cost per night was competitive. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was ok for the price but I can’t be emphatic about any of it. Room was ok but could’ve been better; cleanliness was ok but could’ve been better, amenities were ok. In short, it was ok for the price. Parking could be problematic if the hotel was fully occupied but we got lucky with a parking space available though it was a tight fit.

There was no electric for a good chunk of our day. We weren't told and we had to chase which i found to be bad service. Also on arrival ( we were early) when we called the number, we found the host to be abrupt.

Location for the track museum was excellent. Lovely comfortable large bed.

The toilet paper. I understand that we need to be environmentally conscious but it dissolves during use! It may not be something that is top of everyone's list but it is important when the sink is not in the same enclosure as the toilet! The service is the restaurant wasn't good. Pre-dinner drinks didn't arrive for more than 25 minutes. We were asked what we would like for dessert (twice) before our delayed main course arrived. Total confusion amongst the serving staff seemed the normal. That said the food when it actually arrived was good. When considering we were eating as a family it detracted from the atmosphere of an easy to enjoy meal.

Foul smell from bathroom in room, room was also pretty dusty. On the morning of checkout, the cleaner was very eager to get into the room, and after us telling her we wouldn’t be checking out till 12, she stood outside our door talking very loudly waiting on us leaving (for almost an hour)

Very uncomfortable bed, there was blood stain on the wall, the smart tv didn’t work so couldn’t watch Netflix which was annoying, the shower tray was awful and didn’t really work, so the bathroom was flooded, so had to keep the shower on a low pressure no lift which was annoying, doors didn’t shut properly which meant you had to bang them shut, and that’s all you could hear.
