- “Baan Thai House is a really beautiful hotel set in really lovely grounds. We booked 2 rooms which were both absolutely lovely and one of the rooms had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We really loved the pool area which was well maintained with plenty of sun beds and a beautiful setting by the river. The staff were wonderful; extremely friendly and very helpful. We booked a sunset river tour through the hotel which was excellent and were dropped off at the night market for food. They also arranged a transfer back to Bangkok too. The hotel is a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the main sights and we liked the fact it was tucked away in a lovely quiet area surrounded by well maintained gardens and a lovely lake. Would definitely stay here again!”

  This private en-suite is hard to beat If you’re planning a trip to North Wales. Both Tony and Sue are top hosts through and through, With an eye for the fine details. The room’s well equipped for a solo trip, Or a couple’s Cymru getaway. A comfy bed, shower, and kitchenette: All you need for a stress-free stay. I was one happy camper with a huge breakfast camper, That was packed with fabulous fare. It set me up for a clamber to nearby Moel Famau, Worth a hike for great views and fresh air. Thank you Tony and Sue! Here’s my rhyming review: It was terrific, a ten out of ten. When I’m nnext passing through, I’ll bring my partner too, As I’ll definitely stay here again.

  I liked how clean it was and it was very convenient for the purpose of my stay in London. I liked that the staff were nice and welcoming as well. It's also very quiet considering the area seemed like a pretty busy area. I slept well couldn't hear all the outside chaos😊

  I didn't like how small my room was tbh.. I'm not sure if that was what I paid for but it was very small. Also I didn't like the fact that the breakfast options were very limited. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth

  We were very disappointed to hear that the hotel lift had been out of commission for some length of time before we got there meaning we had to climb stairs, and there are a lot of them. My daughter has mobility issues and I am no spring chicken. We both struggled. We were advised of this only a day or so before our stay and would otherwise have cancelled our stay at the hotel due to the lift being out of action; one cannot help but wonder whether this is a deliberate ploy to dissuade people from cancelling. We were bemused by the bizarre position of the TV which could not be seen from the bed as it was situated around a corner. Additionally, the bar was closed in the afternoons which was unexpected.
