The hosts had thought carefully about what was needed for a very comfortable stay, including putting in reading lighting, setting up central heating times, comprehensive notes about amenities at the cottage and supplying extension leads to make the stay super easy to use appliances. The kitchen had everything you could need right down to trays for eating food in front of the tv if you didn’t want to sit at the table. To top it all the cottage looked so beautiful with roses growing round the door and thatched roofing, right out of a fairytale!

It took a little while to get used to reversing into the property but that was because I had a rental vehicle. If it was my own car it would’ve been much easier.

A really great location close to everywhere we wanted to explore. The lodge was spacious, the lounge and kitchen area was great and so comfortable. Great for the dog with the secure decking and nice to sit outside in the sunshine. The set up is good for privacy in the decking area. Real benefit having two bathrooms and the bedrooms are a good size. Overall a lovely place to stay!

For us it missed some of the extra touches we have had in other places. Should have checked the questions..you need to take essentials like toilet roll, dish cloths etc. The WiFi password didn’t work and neither did the Sky. Not too much of a problem but was a little annoying. Beds not too comfortable but ok for a few days.

Could not adjust hot water for shower therefore way to hot. Breakfast, while plentiful, was ordinary and overcooked. Beds were uncomfortable. Too expensive for the standard of stay.
