Very compact but very convenient! All the important things worked: air-conditioning, bathroom heater and fan, shower was fantastic, bed was great (an actual double bed with one mattress, not two beds stuck together)... didn't use the kitchenette much but appreciated it being there. No noise from the bars outside!

There was only one small window in the room, leading into a skylight, but I'll take that over the party noise.

Location was very good as could walk everywhere Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. However we were given 2 breakfast vouchers because of a mix up. And I do feel strongly they should be inclusive

The room was incredibly disappointing. It was very bland with no colour to uplift the room. Carpets are old and look horrible. The bathroom had limescale build up on taps and the shower door hinge . The toilet seat was disgusting , old and with marks . The heater did not work the room was cold . Reported it but no-one came . A very gloomy room just a good job we were hardly in it . Very disappointing for a FOUR star hotel . I’d have rated it no more than 3 star.

Car parking spaces have always been very tight. Also, it would make for a more comfortable night's sleep (in summer) if there was air conditioning in the bedroons. However, I understand this would be a big cost.
