The Manor is so beautiful. It was my 70th birthday and we wanted to stay somewhere quiet comfortable and in easy reach to Oxford. The Hotel has been refurbished and the quality of furnishings and decor is beautiful. The restaurant is so pretty and traditional with a modern twist. We had the a la carte menu for my birthday 10/10. Excellent. Quality produce. Beds were comfortable, staff so lovely

Only couple of things missing. No full length mirror in room and no fridge

Absolutely incredible location - less than 1 minute walk to Camden Underground station. Large, spacious apartment with a nice living room, good kitchen area and decent sized bedroom.

When I first checked in, there was no electricity (due to the pre-pay system being out of credit) and that took nearly an hour to resolve. Missing some small but important tweaks - lamp in bedroom, hairdryer etc. As some others have suggested, it can be noisy due to location. Apartment was hotter than the sun, too.

Good big bathroom, very modern. Bedroom very clean but small bed for a double. The view was fantastic from the window. The quality and variety of the breakfast was excellent.

Would have liked a bigger bed. Walls very this and much noise heard from other rooms. Dining room could have been cleaner.

Good breakfast. Didn’t realize how far the hotel was from the university or that you had to walk to take a bus,

Our toilet malfunctioned and, because it was a holiday weekend, we were told no one could fix it, and we had to move. Which we did with little trouble but when I asked for a price reimbursement, the male staffer laughed as though this was a joke and said, “We’re always moving people.” He said,”No reimbursement but we could maybe buy you a drink at the bar.” Sorry, but I don’t drink. And I’ve worked as a desk clerk at a nice hotel, and when something like this happened, we were apologetic and eager to make adjustments. Perhaps this hotel takes men more seriously. My nephew approached a different staff member, basically said “You owe us, guys,” and maneuvered a free breakfast. Interesting how one annoying incident can sour a person in a hotel.

Too noisy, you can hear people moving around in other rooms especially above you & our first night we had kids jumping off the beds above us & running around screaming up till 11.30 at night, when I rang down to reception to try to get someone to sort it out there was no one answering the call

Super convenient to everywhere

That hair dryer needs to be rented and no tooth brush.
