The room was huge in size with high ceilings ,normally this big a room is not seen in hotels, which was a pleasant surprise with good view through the windows. The bed was very comfortable . The bathroom was clean. The hotel is small with limited rooms, with less traffic and noise . It is on a quiet and decent street with limited first come first serve car parking for hotel residents. The staffs very friendly and helpful.

There was no amenities in the tea and coffee drawers and i had to go down to get some to make a cup of tea as the room telephone was not working . There’s no lift and the staircase is high and winding with carpets needing extra care, as chances of tripping over. The breakfast area was a very basic and not at all pleasant or appealing. It wasn’t cleaned properly and looked neglected with broken cheap showpieces on window sill. The two staff serving there not interested in serving people and more interested in talking amongst themselves. They were very loud and noisy, working around and when cleaning the table after the guests . The breakfast was very average with no cooked breakfast. Cold already boiled eggs in shells in a bowl, cereal in a glass jar, how ever they did bring hot toasts when i waited patiently for their attention .

Fantastic helpful and friendly hosts. Great location right in the theatre district and close to underground train station.Walking distance to key attractions. Clean room with comfy bed and it's own bathroom in an apartment shared with the hosts. Was on the 5th floor with an elevator. Despite being in a busy street it didn't face the street and was very quite.

We traveled to Halifax for a concert that took place in Pice Hall and apartment was 5min walk from it, location couldn’t be better! The owner left us some essentials too so we had milk, tea and coffee as well as toiletries waiting for us on arrival.

We were in room 9. Easy check-in, it was very clean and well-equipped with microwave, fridge. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Not noisy but not the most quiet. The host kindly allowed us to stay until midday for an extra tenner.

Lack of parking on-site. We arrived very late from an event and there were no parking spaces left so we parked towards the back of hotel in an unallocated space, out of other people’s way, left our number on dash and worked out ok. 👍

Friendly & welcoming hostess, very comfy beds and excellent breakfast. A view of the sea from one side and a field of gorgeous highland cows to the other - perfect! The owner kindly let us leave out e-bikes in her garage too.

Friendliest reception staff I have ever come across! Parking on site was only £8 for 24hours! Only 15min walk to centre. Pizza available 24hrs! Very clean. Basic but Perfect for what we needed

Key card was intermittent and had no electricity from 4-9.30am, including no air con when was already warm. Menus in the room say food etc is 24 hours so this stopped us from buying food out, only to return and they said that low staffing levels meant it shut early; surprising for a Saturday night.

That you charge for parking! £8.50 absolute disgrace as there nowhere else to park and we were your guest. Put a barrier up with machine to read number plates if you have an issue with none residents using your car park. Don’t charge us and let them off Scott free! This issue is easily over come. Because of this we will be booking Premier Inn !
