Positive section of review
When we told staff about the shower at checkout, they were responsive and assured us it would be looked at. The location is super central and just a very short walk from bars, cafés, the beach and the centre including 'The Lanes'. Staff (owner) at checking were friendly and helpful. LGBTQ+ friendly Very reasonably priced, especially given location. Loved the decorative style. Able to park on road outside building.

Beware if your stay is on the top floor, the last set of stairs is a killer. The shower in our room (10) was just a dribble but we didn't get a chance to mention it during our stay. The windows in the room didn't open properly so it was very hot. Parking is very expensive.

No breakfast offered. Assumed that myself and my two sons, on a motorbike trip, might have had an evening meal table set aside for us, but no! Fully booked! Advised to walk to the Old Rectory where we had a fantastic meal with great beers.

Wonderful setting, lovely cabin which was full of character and spotless. The breakfast was simple but great with nice coffee and best crispy bacon I ever had at a hotel.

Fair walk from car park to cabin and dragging a case can be noisy so felt like I would be annoying other guests. If you can carry your bags it’s not an issue.

Staff not very supportive, we had no internet access and instead of taking time over the phone to explain was told to just read the email with the codes had to send wife to find internet to get code staff over phone very rude and abrupt

Size of room and bed. We paid extra for a premium double room with extra large bed but got a standard double...when we went back to other building to complain there was no staff there and also not answering the phone no that was left...Also didn't like being woken up early by the police who decided to smash down a room door down the corridor and arrest the guest.
