- “Baan Thai House is a really beautiful hotel set in really lovely grounds. We booked 2 rooms which were both absolutely lovely and one of the rooms had the bonus of an outdoor shower. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We really loved the pool area which was well maintained with plenty of sun beds and a beautiful setting by the river. The staff were wonderful; extremely friendly and very helpful. We booked a sunset river tour through the hotel which was excellent and were dropped off at the night market for food. They also arranged a transfer back to Bangkok too. The hotel is a short tuk tuk or taxi ride to the main sights and we liked the fact it was tucked away in a lovely quiet area surrounded by well maintained gardens and a lovely lake. Would definitely stay here again!”

  The property was very modern with very good kitchen facilities. The microwave was dirty but we didn’t use it so fine. The bathrooms were very nice and well equipped, the towels and bedding were good too. Very good booking experience and Gelu was on hand all the time if we had a problem.

  The beds were too hard for me personally and the pillows cheap so not luxury as described. Beds are always an issue when staying somewhere I think it is the most important thing to get a good nights rest. No tea towel provided but there was kitchen roll. The streaming service for the TV wasn’t fantastic it kept stalling, but normal these days I suppose in a rental.

  The house is fabulous! It has everything you need. My room was very comfy and quiet. And the location is perfect right on the coast. Just beautiful! The host is wonderful and the guy who manages the house is perfect. I'll definitely be back!

  We were looking for somewhere close to the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow. It was right across the road. Couldn't have been better since I have mobility issues. Couldn't say anything wrong with this hotel. I would definitely recommend it 👌

  Location couldn’t have been better. Easy to contact the owner and receive a prompt reply. Towels, hairdryers etc were available. Milk, tea on arrival were useful. Comfortable and clean property.

  There was nothing we didn’t like. The owner promptly repaired the blind which needed attention.

  The hotel was great value for money, the staff were friendly and quality of breakfast was great. The bed was comfy and cleanliness of the hotel was spot on.

  Had a few issues when checking in where the staff were adamant I hadn't paid for the room but it was all pre-paid, so took a bit of time sorting that out but other than that all good.

  Location was fab and the key boxes and pass code for the front door an excellent idea. Carpark was a great advantage for us.

  Sharing a bathroom that was downstairs was difficult, if you just needed to wee you have to wait for someone to finish their shower. Television very small for the size of the room especially when placed high up in the corner of the room. Mattress was OK, not used to sleeping on springs. Stairs were a little narrow to walk down so had to walk down sideways.
