We were self catering in one of the coach houses a very short drive from the pub. The accommodation had been beautifully renovated and very spacious. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. A wood burner was set ready to burn, but the heating was so good we didn't need it. The dishes and cutlery was provided in a separate box indicating it had been sterilized from the last use which was really reassuring. The accommodation had direct access to a lovely garden and private parking. Would definitely return given the chance.

Great choice for a stay before early morning flight. Shuttle bus service (fee) operates to airport terminals. We arrived from train station, signage not fantastic but after directions from a helpful taxi driver we found the hotel Bedroom was as expected, small but functional, tea/coffee and water all provided. Bed was reasonably comfortable but pillows weren’t Bathroom was compact but did include a bath.

Pillows The main issue was water pressure and temperature impossible to wash hair - it would have taken 20 mins to rinse. As long as you are aware and can cope with a quick wash in morning then it will be fine

A very nice Inn with a great restaurant and pub. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean. Staff we very friendly and accommodating. Location is less than 5 mins from the ferry terminal to cross to/from Mallaig. Lots of free parking.

It was all excellent just wish we could have stayed longer. Also love the swimming pool and spa area especially after a long train journey to get there.

Having to pay a much higher price than when we stayed there in Dec 23 but we could only stay til 3.30 in the morning as we had to leave to check in for an early flight.

breakfast if bought on site is expensive for what it is, and the sofas in the restaurant/breakfast room are uncomfortable. there’s not much room in the breakfast room to get out to get your food from the buffet. No plug to charge your devices/mobile next to the bed. strange (and bright) lights in the room, it’s hight in the ceiling right above the bed, no small reading/bed side light . Not easy to get out of the bath tub/shower

The location was not conducive to outsiders who are not privy to city street life ie drug use and homelessness. This includes an open door from the street that allowed what the host called "the locals" access to privacy to congregate. The access stairs very steep and narrow. The parking was in street in dubious area. The TV would not work unless I programmed it. The 'street noise' (yelling, fighting) throughout the night matches the location.

We used the swimming pool and my husbands trainers were stolen while we were swimming. No locks for lockers were provided or offered.
