Excellent location and ticked every box needed. It was clean and comfy. I checked the bags in and went out to explore the city each staff member on reception was friendly. It was just a base for the night but the room had all that was needed, a kettle bathroom and a bed. I slept very well, there was a fan and fan heater which I thought was a nice touch if you needed it. The breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection. I will certainly book here again as it’s excellent value for money and the staff were all helpful and clearly happy in their jobs. See you again 😀

Amazing hotel with such attentive, friendly staff, completely exceeded my expectations. Staff went above and beyond by decorating the room for my boyfriends birthday at no cost at all, it was such a lovely surprise. Hotel rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. The location is great in the city centre and took us just 25 minutes to drive to Exmouth beach. The train station is across the road so it is possible to get the train to the beach also. We parked at the train station opposite and cost £7 a day. Huge thank you to all the staff for a great stay!

Beautifully put together, very calming and cosy. Staff work hard to make sure your stay is comfortable and are on hand if needed. I went for 2 nights and I wish I would have booked a longer stay. The log burner looked beautiful when lit at night and they also supply hot water bottles and a electric blanket. I took my dog with me and she loved the outside area.

The bed wasn’t properly made. They didn’t even use a base sheet. Just chucked up top sheet over the mattresses and didnt tuck it in properly, then placed a duvet on top. We were also woken up about 5.45am with construction noises outside our window, and the room was a bit run down for the price.
