Hotel Facilities: The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, with amenities that exceeded our expectations. The Nespresso coffee was a delightful touch. The multiple outdoor and indoor pools, including the heated water pool, allowed us to enjoy swimming to the fullest.       We booked a 2 night stay at Coed Mawr Hall and would happily return there if we were visiting that area. It is a stunning property set on a hillside with fabulous views, accessed along a half-mile private drive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully presented. The owners are super friendly and committed to ensuring that all their guests have a great experience. Highly recommended.

      The staff were absolutely wonderful and so welcoming and kind, from Judith and her homemade goodies to Javed with his excellent communication (and perfect poached eggs!) to the lovely cleaner whose name I didn't get. My visit felt so friendly from start to finish and the room and facilities were excellent.

      Lovely garden space in which to relax and have a drink, splendid granite building in local Victorian style set in extensive grounds, delicious roast venison, comfortable room and mattress, good towels and toiletries. After two nights of wild camping it was something of an oasis.

      There were little mistakes... A harsh, mustardy and not at all Asian vinaigrette spoiling an Asian duck salad, being served the wrong glass of wine, weird techno dance music at breakfast...

      The property was beautiful, clean, quiet, spacious, and in a great location. We stayed across two apartments within a single large house. The property really cannot be faulted for comfort and convenience.

      We booked a 3 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartment with sofa beds (that we requested linens for using their check-in portal). We ended up with two 3 bedroom apartments with no sofa beds and no extra linen. This was actually more convenient for us but why doesn't this company (Your Apartment) know enough about their properties to be able to provide accurate descriptions? It came across as a bit incompetent on their part. Speaking of incompetence, I have a lot to say about the deposit return process. The deposit for both properties was close to £1000 which could apparently only be collected via bank transfer. Quite steep, but fine. After our stay I emailed to get the ball rolling on the deposit return, which was due to be returned within 7 days according to the booking. Over the course of a week, I was told the following by various members of staff during a back and forth over email: - Your deposit will be returned "in the next 24h" - Monday 17th (Jorge) - Your deposit will be returned "in a few minutes" - Tuesday 18th (Jorge) - Your deposit will be "returned to you shortly" - Wednesday 19th (Joe) - Your deposit will be "returned to you shortly" - Friday 21st (Joe) - Your deposit will be "with you by Wednesday" - Monday 24th (Jahvoy) My deposit was finally returned to me on Tuesday 25th, which was only a day over the "within 7 days" return window. No big deal right, so what am I complaining about? If the staff at Your Apartment had said to me at the outset "your deposit is probably going to come back to you at the tail end of the 7 days" that would have been great. But when you have people telling you things like "your deposit will be with you in 24h / the next few minutes" and then it doesn't happen and ->I<- have to chase up to find out why it hasn't happened, I find that incredibly unprofessional and frankly quite disrespectful.

      I travelled for work and honestly never experienced anything like it. Worst experience EVER. The door had no security chain and the lock is easily accessible. One of the beds were dirty and had hair on it. The floor was dirty. There was a group of men who were drunk (I stayed here on a Monday night) that kept going in and out of the hotel shouting outside the front, and when coming to their room which was on the same floor as me they were slamming the entrance door to the hallway and making so much noise. This was happening from around 11.30pm until 4am so I ended up having 4 hours sleep. I went to work on 4 hours sleep and had to drive 4 hours back to my area on 4 hours sleep. When calling the reception, it took many attempts to get through. In the end I was told it shouldn’t continue as they’ve gone to the room but it just kept happening and reception didn’t answer my calls anymore. The loud doors slamming alongside no proper security on the doors it made it impossible and fearful to sleep. I resulted laying in bed fully clothed in fear any of them could burst through my door. I also arrived late, the car park is an automatic light so it goes off not giving you enough time to get out and is soo scary for a woman. I was even charged £10 to park in a scary car park that would be a vulnerable area for women to get attacked because of Poor lighting.
