First thing in the morning, we chose simply bacon and eggs at breakfast as we were in a hurry. They were the most delicious eggs and slices of bacon we've enjoyed for a long time. Absolutely fantastic. We requested a room near reception, as my wife walks with a stick, and we were well accommodated with a ground floor room, close to the front.

Unfortunately the coffee at breakfast is a bit grim. Even at 7am when it's technically been freshly made, it's as though it's been sitting on the coffee machine since the previous evening. I'm not sure that someone who enjoys drinking coffee has taste tested the breakfast coffee.

As the apartment is on a hill it is first floor front access but the bedrooms back on to a seating area which can be accessed via the public. I did d have concerns about my daughter sleeping in a separate room with doors leading outside, something I wasn’t expecting.

I got room in a basement with the view through dirty windows to emergency exit staircase blocked with bags of rubbish. Bags remained there till the morning of my departure. I'm surprised they don't have any safety regulations to keep exit free and accessible in case of fire for example . Also leaving and collecting key from reception every time when you leave hotel is bit uncomfortable especially when you're in rush and there's noone at reception.
