Greeted on arrival, everything explained , good to know there is someone on site all the time incase you need any help. Our room was quite small and cosy, but totally adequate for our weekend. The room was very clean and there was ample tea, coffee and milk supplies, which made a nice change from some hotels. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Comfortable stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were adequate. An old building which is under refurbishment. Food in the restaurant was nice enough.

Didn't have anywhere to put your teabags when you had made a brew, I had to leave them on the table. A waste bin would have been useful. No complimentary water in the room, which would have been nice. No lift, had to haul suitcase up and down the stairs.

No walk in shower in shared bathroom Only a hand held shower over the bath. There is a swimming pool but no access to it, which would have been good.
