The room was clean and comfy, slightly bigger than the average London room. Ideal position for the museums and Albert Hall, all within easy walking distance. The underground was 2 minutes away in the next street which was a bonus. Good location for eating and shopping.

We were not impressed with the breakfast being only continental and very little choice. You could order scrambled eggs or omelettes at an extra charge. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and changed our cafetiere straight away when the coffee grains had come through the filter, not her fault.The breakfast room could do with a hot drinks machine where guests could help themselves and new crockery, it was a bit mismatched.

Slightly better communication from The host. I messaged about the heating as it was on and it was too hot in the apartment. No reply and we went out for the day. When we returned we can only presume someone had been in and sorted as we experienced no further problems and the terrace doors were open on our return. No wine glasses in the kitchen

The bedroom was dark as was the decor in the hotel corridors. Needed brightening up. The mattress was horrendous. It was so hard and for someone with a very bad back it was very uncomfortable. Thankfully there was lots of pillows to pack the mattress out. Breakfast staff could have been a little more attentive
