Eveything you needed was provided free of cost - beach towels, beach mat, beach bag, drinking water, sandals etc. Breakfast was as great, fresh eggs made as you like and lots of sweet and savoury options and barista style coffee! The pool for the rooms and the main pool were kept clean and bug free. The evening restaurant food was lovely with a range of options, the Thai food was delicious but there were also more western options. The staff were fantastic - specifically a gentleman name William (a member of the bar staff) was exceptionally friendly and made our stay. Free shuttle bus that took you into the centre or to the market was really appreciated. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!”

      Very spacious. Friendly welcome. Easy parking. Comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities. Very good value for money indeed. Short walk to centre. Obviously amazing location for rugby fans - this wasn't us though!

      Under renovation when we were there. Not a major problem and will end at some point. Breakfast was continental style - cooked available at a price but not included. Fire door for the part where we stayed closes very noisily and the occupants of the other room we going out every few minutes all night (to smoke I assume) and the noise was horrendous as they let the door bang shut every time. Castleford itself looks sad and unloved. Pity that the riverside board walkway to centre (that I assume the council must have installed at significant cost) lay abandoned and overgrown. I think the hotel owners should take this up with the council.

      The location for us was perfect, the flat had everything that you needed for a sleep over stay. The flat was spacious and quiet.

      There were some finishing touches in the flat such as headboards, flooring behind the bed and just some extra appeal which would have tipped this flat to being really good. It did not make a difference to our stay and we would stay and recommend it again.

      First to rooms we were offered were very outdated and one especially the toilet was up a small flight of stairs, went back to reception and we upgraded to a pair of refurbished rooms which were excellent.
