The outdoor garden area with good seating with the narrow little river flowing by was very Cotswolds! Alan was extremely welcoming! Our bedroom and new bathroom were very classy and cozy! We had a restaurant style fish n chips and the breakfast had a variety of choice! Poached eggs and salmon delicious ! It’s a quiet place not far from Burford and we loved it! Excellent staff like Jenny and Alan!

Absolutely nothing! It’s a 200 year old pub with brand new buildings at the back !

Breakfast was great quick and friendly service. Room and hotel were clean. Everything as expected. Car park is quite small so have a back up prepared if full. Very close to city 15 minute walk. Far enough away to not be too noisy and busy. A few close by pubs for drinks and foods.

Cost was very high due to Swift concert-we attended. Were lucky to get room so close with demsnd. Lots of whistling pipes and buzzing at times. Hotel bar preminently closed.

Expected a double bed. Got two singles pushed together. Room was small and not the same as advert for the garden room with balcony. Was really expecting something like the advert but was told by staff that our room didn't have a balcony. Although the view of the garden was nice. Staff were friendly. We found the hotel quite a walk to the Tube.

The staff in the Bar and restaurant, I sat down at a table with my son, we then chose food and I went ti the bar to order. Whilst I was at the Bar my son was told to move as the table we were sat on was reserved. There was no reserved sign in the table and the waitress put the sign on the table once my son moved. She was very rude. My son and I ordered Soup for starter and it was cold on arrival, it was taken back to the kitchen to be heated up. 10 minutes later the soup came back still cold. The main coursr was just as poor. When the waitress asked how was our meal I said not good, she just shrugged her shoulders. The two female waitresses were rude but I can say the guy behind the bar was apologetic and sympathetic.
