The staff member at the front desk was very polite and helpful (not sure of his name, Welsh guy), the room was a fair size for what we paid and the bed was comfy, liked that there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. Location was excellent, right in front of the sea life and pier. Got lucky and managed to find a parking space a few minutes walk away using the £8 permit we bought from reception. Not exactly the Ritz, but perfect for a couple of nights if you're staying in Brighton and just need somewhere to lay your head at night. Ear plugs were provided but we didn't hear much outside noise (maybe because we came in at 1am).

The shower could really do with some upgrading. The shower head itself was tiny and totally crusted over with limescale (wish I brought some white vinegar with me), I had to try to unblock some of the holes in the shower head so that more water would come out, and it had less pressure than a watering can. Not sure I felt too much cleaner coming out of the shower than when I went in...

The Leicester Ibis offered efficient check in with courteous helpful staff. The room had everything I required, toiletries drinks and a very functional bathroom. Breakfast was vast. English.. Continental..cereals. Juice .. yoghurt etc At night there was some road noise but the hotel is in the centre and to be expected but really wasn't a nuisance with the comfortable bed . All staff members were there if needed but I was left alone otherwise. I thoroughly recommend this hotel for solo travellers and families, it offers good value and is better than a budget hotel...I'll definitely stay again

Nothing to dislike. Book it! Maybe an extra electrical or usb socket at the bedside

Comfortable bed, quiet and room bigger than expected. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Large onsite car park and convenient location. Good value, plentiful breakfast - pre-book to secure it for £8.95 and it will set you up for the day.

Price point is similar to a Premier Inn - so comparing with one the Arnos Manor comes off as a little shabby (very tired, 1980s/90s decor), in need of a makeover (peeling paint off the entire radiator, door into bathroom visibly broken on both faces, stains on bathroom walls and floor), and needing much better attention to cleanliness (stained duvet cover, mouldy mastic in the bathroom, large sections of tiled walls uncleaned with splashmarks from a previous resident's shower). Security also a concern as in the morning two doors into the hotel at the rear were propped open - anyone could wander in and out. Plus unexpectedly the person in the room next to me had a dog with them in the room- which barked for several minutes when I went in or left my room. Giving your guests a heads up about it would be a start. Overall in need of an Olga Polizzi intervention.

Friendly staff. Fast respond when we found out the ironing board in the cupboard was not functioning. Room size. Microwave was useful.

House keeping didnt change our bedsheets when we asked the room to be cleaned. No place to put toiletry bags in the bathroom. Had to ask for bedroom slippers. Were not readily available in the room. Only 2 complimentary bottles of water provided upon check in. No replenishment on a daily basis. Free wifi is not secure.

The staff, food (dinner and breakfast) were great, thank-you. I really like to continental breakfast option.

Twin beds pushed together to make a double isnt ideal and would benefit from a mattress topper to cover the crack/gap.

Upstairs floorboard and stairs are a little creaky but not much to be done about that!
