Beautiful, bright, modern, clean, well equipped apartment. Locatated on the grounds of the golf course, beautiful scenery from sitting room window. Bus route 41 and 43 are straight outside the gates of the golf course and run every 10 minutes. 20 minute walk to Burton road where there is loads of cafes and restaurants. 20 minute bus ride to the Curry mile. 15/20 minutes walk to Didsbury town center. 45 minutes bus ride to Manchester city centre. It is the perfect apartment for a weekend away to chill and avail of local great food. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi connection leaves a lot to be desired. We could connect but the signal kept dropping every few minutes so could not use it. We also found very poor reception for mobile data. The golf course and club are accessible and offer a discount. I cannot fault the accommodation itself, it would definitely be at 10/10 but I am knocking 1 point of the overall experience due to the third party provider they use.

Be aware that there is an additional heafty charge for insurance on the apartment. I was given two options; pay a 570 or 580 (can not remember) deposit with an additional 12 euro transaction charge Or pay a non-refundable 47 euro insurance fee. On top of this, I was also asked to submit additional profile information and a picture of my passport. I contacted the company, saying there was not comfortable with this, and was told that it is a requirement. Unfortunately, I had selected the pay in advanced non-refundable price, so I was unable to cancel and had to provide this information. If I had known this beforehand, I would not have booked. The third party provider only scores two out of five on Trust pilot I booked at least six weeks in advance and was hounded with requests to fill in this information despite having informed the company that I would do it one week before.

The hotel is well located but is beginning to show its age . One of the lifts was not working so long waits at times to between floors . Friendly welcome . Breakfast area very clean and tidy with good selection.

One Lift not working. Rooms begin to look tired . The room was expensive for its condition. I thought this was about a £60 per night room and not £99 as charged

Having previously stayed there before the breakfasts were a mixture of self service and hot portions which was in a nice breakfast room overlooking the lawns which made for pleasant eating.

milk on second night replaced, space between bed and chair a little cramped.
