The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Lovely atmosphere to the hotel, friendly staff, beautiful room. Nice towels in terms of both quality and size. Really good food at the restaurant, I had both dinner and breakfast there and the quality was excellent.

My room was a little noisy - it looked out to the staff car park/delivery area and so had a fair bit of movement both in the evening and the morning.

The location on the sea front was excellent with a view over the sea and the harbour. Facilities were good for self catering. Supermarket was very close by as were a number of restaurants.

Heating was a problem as it was not working due to a fault but they found a portable heater. Only a problem at night - sun warmed the apartment during the day.

Room 1712 is adjacent to the lift shafts, absolutely no sleep from 11.30 onwwards due to noise of lifts going up and down all night long, like listening to the grinding mechanism shouldnt really use this as a guest bedroom

Only thing good about the property is the central location. Everything else was bad after that.

There were 4 issues we had on the property itself. 1. Their boiler broke down and we didn’t have hot water. The hotel “offered” alternative shower arrangements at their sister hotel which was 2 mins walk away but when we inquired about it, we were told the sister hotel didn’t have any rooms available for us to use their showers. (Why bother to offer alternatives to look good on paper). They managed to fix the boiler by the evening, and we managed to get a hot shower in. But the next morning when we checked out; the boiler was down. So in my 2 nights, here I had 3 very uncomfortably cold “showers” and only one comfortable shower. 2. Lift excess, they had 2 lifts but 1 lift was down (understand it’s been “under maintenance” for many weeks). So the other lift is slow and one has to wait a long time for the lifts. 3. There is no ramp from the lobby to the lifts. One has to carry luggages up and down 3-4 steps. The hotel should consider getting a ramp that would be easy for travellers 4. Cleanliness. There was a layer of dust at the TV counter, and the coffee cups had dirt and hair from the previous guests.

Very convenient for early airport check-in at Heathrow Terminal 3

No kettle or coffee-maker in room, but hot drinks were freely available from self-service on ground floor, which was handy. Pillows were a bit hard for me, but that’s a personal choice.

Location, Staff and the facilities were good.

Mattress was too hard but the staff helped out by adding another layer which improved the issue.

The water in the bathroom only ran hot. Told the man to fix it, but he never fixed. No cold showers.
