Location is beautiful as is the building itself,with beautiful scenic views. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was very nice and bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. Spa was brilliant especially the long hot tub with views looking out at the mountains.

On arrival we were told that bathrobes and slippers were in the room if we wanted to use the spa facilities which we did. On entering the room there were no bathrobes and we had to go in search of staff to get these. After breakfast on returning to our room we were unable to access the room and we had to go back to the reception and were told that our key card had been deactivated, this was quickly and pleasantly rectified but no explanation given. On returning to the room later in the afternoon around 3 pm the room had not yet been made up by housekeeping and were were running low on toilet roll and water. We had to find and ask staff yet again for these items, but nobody offered or apologised for the room not being made up, which for a 5 star hotel at a 5 star price was very disappointing. On returning in the evening and turning on the bed side lamp the electricity in the room was fused and left us in darkness, again another trip to reception to get this sorted, which was done quickly however the bulb for the bedside lamp was not replaced. The water temperature in the shower was not sufficiently hot. I received a text message from the hotel to ask for feedback regarding our stay. I told them about these issues but to date unfortunately nobody has responded .

I like the location as it is close to work and the city center, it is extremely spacious and has all the facilities so I can be self sufficient!

The room itself was clean and comfortable . The bar staff in the pub were excellent. Very friendly, approachable and a great laugh .

The only thing that let it down was an issue with the drains . Their was a smell noticeable from the drains in the bathroom .
