Great food - we had breakfast and dinner at lulworth lodge and it was of excellent quality (far better than the pub up the road) and fantastic service. Also had a lovely atmosphere. Brilliant location - we could see the cove from our bedroom window which was lovely! Parking at the main carpark a 2 minute walk away was only £3 per day as we were staying at the lodge instead of £20 per day and also allowed parking at durdledoor and lulworth castle. Cosy comfortable rooms - rooms were nicely furnished with a quirky style, kettle and plenty of tea, coffee and milk.

This is a beautiful B&B in a farm setting - very peaceful for taking a walk, even though it is very close to Stratford-upon-Avon and other tourist sites. The breakfast is exceptional, served in an easy, help-yourself buffet style right outside the rooms. Our host was so friendly and welcoming. We thought we would be arriving later in the day, so she had sent instructions for accessing the room if she wasn't available. Although that ended up not being needed, it was still a welcome and thoughtful plan.

Lovely old pub, spotless throughout. Chatted with the landlady's daughter & the chef at the end of the night and both very friendly. A credit to the pub.

WiFi wouldn't connect at all, which although gave some peace from any pinging, would've helped as no signal was received at all for normal calls / messages.

Check-in was delayed by 2 hours because the room was not ready. Guy at reception told me the room would "be ready in 25 minutes" initially, so I waited patiently. Had he been honest with me from the start I could have changed my plans and not lost more time and money on a ticket for an event I was due to attend. Management needs to hire more housekeeping staff as it's not fair on them. These delays seem to be a regular occurrence, though receptionist blamed housekeeping on the day, saying "they all called in sick"
