This property had everything that you could ever need for a getaway. I stayed in the property whilst on a healthcare placement and had the most pleasant stay. I had no issue with parking and was able to park outside of the property at all times, albeit I didn’t use my car very much following my arrival. I was welcomed by a bottle of bubbles, biscuits, bread and milk - Lovely! The cinema room is the loveliest touch with loggins to Netflix and the shower was luxurious. Could not recommend this property enough!! The property is small but spacious, it was absolutely perfect for me.

Very clean, lovely hot shower and comfortable beds. Everything you need they provide, so don’t have to pack towels, bedding etc. Great location for visiting Staithes, Saltburn, Runswick. Easy to get to Whitby too, but we didn’t bother as on a short break. Lovely tranquil spot. Great restaurant in The Fox Inn and fantastic, welcoming hosts. Happily go back especially as our friends could use the hook up on the camp site in the field next door to the caravan.

The staff were brilliant. Check in / out was quick and easy. The bed was comfortable. The location is perfect. Just a short walk from the train station, Ilkley moor and the town centre.

There was a wedding on the night that we stayed and the pounding music from the function room was incredibly loud from 3pm when we checked in. At 9pm I called reception and asked if we could move rooms. The man from reception was very helpful and understanding and moved us to the floor above. The music could still be heard but was nowhere near as bad and we were very grateful. The first room was a bit run down, however it was clean and the bed was comfortable and we would have been perfectly happy with it if it wasn't for the noise. The second room was much better. It must have had a bit of a refurb. And again, it was very clean and comfortable. We would stop here again providing there was no function on the same night or if we could be guaranteed a higher floor away from the noise.

When I arrived no toilet roll no pillow case no tv that worked I reported this as soon as I arrived but nobody actually done anything and also the fire alarm went of four times alone of them was at 2.30am which is not good and it was absolutely terribly warm in the room and it was not a nice feeling

Carpet up the stairs to the bedrooms smelt very foisty and not pleasant. People vaping in the bar area. Outside area could be made more Pleasant. Chef smoking in the outside area.
