The property was on the 3rd floor, it‘s lovely, design modern and so comfortable. Very good wifi. Big flat TV. Mattress was medium, not too soft and firm which fit me best. Cutleries, utensils, glasswares and oven were spotless and everywhere was so clean and tidy. Location is great where only few minutes walk to Euston Train Station. Staffs contacted me right after I made a booking and provided me the address and door codes on the day of my arrival.

The property has very thin ceilings and walls, I heard whenever the person living upstair came back from work, used the washing machine, walked around the living room and bedroom, and got up to work repeatly. All windows were locked, I guess because of the noise from underground and safety issues. It could be better if windows can be slightly opened after cooking to avoid smelling. Ventilation not working properly at non-window bathroom, peeling paint casued by moisture but it‘s not a big deal.

Pros: Friendly Reception Staff: The reception team was friendly and professional on arrival, setting a good first impression. However, within minutes of reaching my room, they had to knock to collect card details that had been missed initially.

Cons: 1. Room Conditions: Bathroom and Room Facilities: I was given a room with a disabled bathroom, which looked grubby, with the mirror peeling from the back. There were no clothes hangers, the back of the remote was missing, and there was no full-length mirror— all of this, suggesting that the room (41) is due for an update. Beds: The twin beds were not hooked together, so I ended up slipping between them during the night. Unpleasant Smells: The grey cushions on the bed had a strong, stale odour of sweat and dirt that genuinely made me gag. Window Issues: The windows were open when I arrived (odd for November), and one window was misaligned, requiring force to close. This could be a challenge for guests with limited mobility, especially given the disabled bathroom setup. 2. Dining Experience at Walton’s Bar: Beverages and Food Quality: The beer was rancid and had to be sent back, and the Guinness wasn’t available. The spinach pie was gritty/sandy (not calcium oxalate crystals). The garlic bread arrived cold and seemed improperly warmed, and the sticky toffee pudding had burnt edges from over-microwaving. The lasagna was fine, but other items, including a soggy browning salad, were disappointing. Menu Availability: Several items were unavailable, with limited substitutions. When another guest asked about cannelloni, the staff laughed, saying it’s bought in fresh, frozen, and then defrosted for service. Poor Planning: The bar and restaurant felt poorly managed, with an imbalance in staffing and setup that contributed to a less enjoyable experience. 3. Health Suite Experience: Having forgotten my swimwear, I was offered lost property items, which I declined. I was then directed to a store that didn’t stock swimwear, leading to a 40-minute round trip after a long drive to find suitable attire. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a waste of time, as I chose not to use the health suite or pool after such a disappointing evening meal.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The cottage was just perfect, everything that you need and warm & cosy. The location is great, only 10 minutes to Tenby and so many other beaches nearby

We didn't enjoy the dinner, a lot of the dishes were undercooked. However it's worth it just because of the view.

We arrived at Turnstones holiday home in Sheringham to find that no cleaning had been done, no beds changed etc. We did manage to speak to the owner who was pleasant and promised she would send a cleaner. She also promised a refund to cover for this inconvenience either to my daughter's bank account or via booking.com. We had to stay in to wait for the cleaner which was a nuisance but mistakes happen and it was dealt with. What didn't get dealt with was the refund...my daughter text the owner again on Monday to say we left the property with no response and also text again after our stay later in the week and the owner did respond and again promised to send a refund but nothing was received. We contacted booking.com to see if the refund had come through their system but no response whatsoever. This incident of being lied to and no response from the booking agent has been upsetting.
