Bestever experience with this accommodation and the host. Host is very helpful, flexible and accommodating. Property has excellent beach view with no issues with parking (Just Park across the road). This accommodation offers space, well interior designed, clean, tidy and excellent view. I will definitely stay again and would always recommend . Thank you.

Very lovely Breakfast, plenty of choice and Lara cooks the perfect pouched eggs everytime. The B & B was spotlessly clean, lovely onsuite bathroom and I slept really well every night of my stay. The B & B is perfect has a base to go off and explore Cornwall. Garth and Lara are lovely hosts and I was made to feel very welcome.

A very lovely period home with a stunning sitting room, with a great selection of books and art. The garden is beautiful, full of flowers and pretty features. My room was lovely and bright, with very nice fabrics and wallpaper and with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely touches such as home made granola bars and chocolates.

With the windows open, the traffic noise was obvious in the morning.

Fabulous from start to finish. Beautifully equipped rooms with loads of lovely little special touches. Staff were friendly and bent over backwards to go above and beyond helpfulness.

Location is very good, within 2-3 minutes from the underground station. The appartment itself is quite roomy and can comfortably accommodate 5 adults.

To begin with, before getting check in instructions it said on the site that someone would meet us at the location. Then I recieved the instructions about self check in, stating that the key was at the shop 400 m away from the apartment itself. Upon arriving to collect the keys (approximately 30-45 min after predicted check in time) I was informed that the keys were not there by the shop clerk. Anna wasn’t available, I called her multiple times and in the end when I managed to reach her she told me that the previous guests obviously didn’t return the keys. What I find extremely rude and irresponsible is for the host not to check if the keys are ready for new guests. We finally managed to get the keys more than 2 hours after predicted check in time. Then it took the guy who brought us the keys more than five minutes to actually unlock the appartment. When we entered the appartment we were told that the balcony DOESN’T OPEN FOR SECURITY REASONS which wasn’t true but it takes at least 2 people pushing like crazy to open it. We were told we would be given a second set of keys which we never got. The dishes weren’t clean, there were coffee spots from previous guests. There aren’t any normal drinking glasses in the appartment. The carpet on the balcony was absolutely disgusting, the bathroom ceiling is mouldy and the bathtub is clogged. It takes around 20 minutes for it to empty after one person has had a shower which is really inconvinient for an apartment that takes up to 6 guests.

Breakfast was a cooked breakfast, Ok, but nothing special, so I fail to understand all the rave reviews on that subject.

The same defects in Room 1 reported by Sylvie earlier in the month were still present during my stay. Black mould all along the bottom edge of window blind when lowered! Double glazed unit of window failed and all misted up! The 'private bathroom' was an absolute joke - all it contained in a small narrow space (about 9' 0" x 3' 0") was a toilet and a shower - which had no curtain, so the whole floor got soaked when you showered, and the sink to wash your hands after using the toilet was outside the door back in the bedroom! The 'private bathroom' ceiling, tile grouting and walls also had black mould spots present! This is the first 'private bathroom' I've ever been in where you couldn't 'swing a cat' as the old saying goes! The washbasin sink tap was loose when the mastic used (wrongly) to secure it had become unstuck - and nearly forgot - the hot/cold water flow was only any good after I opened the isolating valves on the h/c supply pipes. Someone else also mentioned the two steep flights of stairs which needed to be climbed before reaching the rooms - even though on my booking requested Blue Badge parking if possible! Absolutely no wonder they took FULL payment for the stay the minute you check-in!!!!!
