- “Everything was amazing and I would totally recommend. The house has loads of space inside and out, the kitchen is well equipped and there’s a washing machine and small dishwasher. Upstairs is a great space with a large bed, loads of storage, modern bathroom and lovely balcony facing the harbour. There’s water, coffee and basic supplies provided, Efthymios picked up and dropped off for the ferry plus he helped arrange a hire car and provided maps and advice. The sea, port and shops are very close and Chora and beyond a short drive. All in all it was perfect and I loved my stay.”

  Whilst renovation works we're being undertaken it didn't affect any aspect of our stay. The room was presumably recently refurbished and to a high standard too. Would suggest the bathroom toiletries are not so highly scented. Otherwise all perfect. We were able to top up the tea bags and milk from reception staff when we got back from seeing the Pet Shop Boys in their Dreamworld tour at the Motorpoint Arena. Taxi from the hotel to the arena was only £7 so rather than a half hour or so walk from the hotel was worth it.

  All good. One small negative comment would be that for number of staff waiting at breakfast could have been more observant in seeing our table was accumulating breakfast cereal bowls, cups and breakfast plates that needed taking away before we had to put them on an adjacent table in order to make more room on our table. There were only a few residents in at breakfast so think this needs addressing

  Good Location. Lovely sea facing room with balcony. Nice selection for breakfast both hot and cold. Staff in restaurant very friendly and obliging. Parking not a problem.

  Facilities for people with mobility issues not great. Not able to take mobility scooter to room which proved challenging. Mobility lift not working. Needs some thought.

  Use this hotel 2 to 3 times a year. Have done for the past 10 years. Love Rothesay and the location of the Glenburn is excellent.

  Parking can be a wee bit challenging. There used to be entertainment on Friday/saturday nites but not since new owners have taken over.

  My ONLY tiny thing - the outside sitting area - the furniture / table was full of dirt not really ideal when we were sitting outside for dinner with the kids. Obviously I cleaned the table before, you could see it haven't been cleaned in a long time.
