Positive section of review
Staff were very friendly, we only really met the lady on the desk but she was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and they even sorted vegetarian sausages for me. I like real coffee over instant so the only thing missing was that as the coffee machine wasn't working. Room was a little dated, but was clean and absolutely fine otherwise.

Very pleasant staff.. Free off road parking specifically for the hotel, car visible from my room. Bed Comfy and room generally clean. Light continental breakfast was fine, but I missed the full English.

The bathroom was in need of a revamp. Clean, but extremely tired looking…I’ve seen worse in student rented accommodation but only just.

A vast menu at the restaurant in a cosy and well decorated environment. They have a gas fireplace outdoors with a surrounding sofa. Accommodation was very cosy and enough space for a comfortable stay.

The person that served us in the brasserie was friendly & helpful. She stayed and chatted with us did not come across as if she was in hurry to serve other customers.

Excellent location only a 10 minute walk into York. Staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious.

The booking.com site stated that this property had 2 bathrooms and this is why I booked it. The property actually has one bathroom and a very small downstairs' toilet with a small washbasin.
