It was clean and tidy. The living room was spacious. The kitchen was very well equiped. The heating/hot water was easy to work and there is a good shower. Tye cottage is right in the middle of the village, with the village across the road. We didn't hear a sound from the neighbours all weekend. There is off road parking at the cottage. The mattress sounded like it was an old sprung one, but it was comfortable and supportive.

Carole & Michael were welcoming & accommodating. The apartment was private, quiet, comfortable and very well furnished. The drinks, food & snacks provided were more than generous. Well located for easy transport routes and within walking distance or short drive to amenities. Quick access to city centre and motorways. Off road parking was a bonus.

Excellent location with parking for visiting the area. Close to public transport if required. Ground floor accommodation perfect for us and pretty well maintained gardens with outdoor seating appreciated. Accommodation was very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped.

The only issue was with the bathroom due to an unpleasant smell presumably from the drain. This was a shame because it was a good size and the large easy to use shower was really good. If we'd been staying longer we would have mentioned it to David via the contact number provided.
