We flew in a day before we were to take an airport shuttle to a cruise ship. This hotel was perfect for that. It was easy to take the tram from Terminal 5 to Terminal 4 and walk across the pedestrian bridge to the hotel. The room was quiet and comfortable for the one night we were there. We got up early and walked back across the bridge to the airport where the shuttle bus was located. We thought the price for the room was reasonable.

The hotel's restaurant was OK for dinner, if you like pizza. Breakfast was not good.

This hotel is in the most magnificent and very well maintained grounds. The restaurant provides good quality meals for both dinner and breakfast, which is substantial. There is a good bar and there are several spaces, both indoor and out, to relax. The hotel has a remarkable World War II history with strong connections with the RAF. Many wall mounted photographs demonstrate this.

Great location with a good apartment. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A few extra things were added to make it nice which was appreciated.

It’s a gorgeous old building with lots of character and the breakfast was superb. The dining staff were amazing, cheerful and helpful.

I requested for double bed when booking ,however site stated rooms were allocated on first come first serve bases,on getting there,we were given two single bed. At the reception i explained to a member of staff(Asian guy) that it was our honeymoon, yet he wouldnt budge. He tried to ruin the fun of our honeymoon but we refused to allow that to happen,we find solution our own way, stayed three night and moved to different location

When we went into our room, we were not impressed with the view! We had a view of the bins, in which raised alarm bells for us, And indeed that was the case, we were awoken with the noise of bottles and rubbish being thrown into the bins several times. Avoid staying in room 7, certainly not a lucky number at this hotel. We also ordered a Blue lagoon and a beer, we were charged £30 for this! there was no price list just got charged!
