We didn't meet João in person, but communication via Booking went very smoothly. Also the self check-in is very easy. As for parking: there are a few places in the driveway, but there also is a convenient public parking space nearby where we parked our car every night. The apartment is located in a quiet street, but is still pretty close to the city center (1.5km - 2km) where you can find all necessary supermarkets, restaurants, ... And it's also located quite central on São Miguel which makes it the ideal base to explore the entire island.”

  we had the most lovely room with good space and a really nice bed.. The bathroom was nice. The best thing was when we came down for breakfast, we were met by the friendliest host. one of the mornings we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time, but he made some brakfast for us earlier, so we could eat before we left. The bus is right ouside the door, it cost 2 pounds, and it takes you to the city center in just a few minutes. When I go back to Edinburgh (wich I definitely will!!!) I would stay here again, no doubt!

  Saul was friendly and helpful, not minding that I arrived a little early after a long travel. He even offered to look after my bag on the last day while I waited for my train home. It was good to have access to the kitchen for cups of tea/coffee and to prep food, as there is a great little shop down the road. It's a short walk from the town and train station, convenient and a comfortable clean place to stay. It was the best value place I could find and was pleased with my choice. Thank you!

  The walls were a bit thin so I could hear the person snoring in the next room, and combined with some kind of fan/generator outside my window it was not totally quiet at night. I could have closed the window and brought earplugs to be fair, not a big problem.

  Friendly staff throughout 1 nite stay Payed parking All facilities clearly explained Breakfast included. Enjoyed. The 2 ladies were so pleasant and made return guests feel comfortable . Buffet great option to keep moving when on holiday Jacuzzi & pool a bonus. Great central location. Rooms cheaply decked out. Need hook on door to dry 2nd towel Full bar, large dining room looked inviting. Reception staff, saw same lady morning of leaving. Very professional& friendly.

  Lovely property, I stayed her whilst working at Cornwall Show so great location, a bit of the beaten track but that is quite normal for the area! Great property, very comfy and had everything I needed. Good communication from hosts prior to arrival, and I was made very welcome by a group of chickens when I arrived!! No phone signal but wifi worked perfectly for me and was also able to work and do emails when I needed to.

  River view room was nice, clean and comfy, although we did have to share it with some ants! They did earn us a free breakfast though!

  We were married in The Swan 20 years ago, since then it has changed beyondf all recognition. It used to be quaint and personal, now it's too big and impersonal! The Coppa Club is not very personal either! My wife is a Coeliac and for some reason she had to wait for her food to be brought to her by a manager? Food was nice though.
