Everything was modern and extremely clean. The furniture was comfy, and the view, amazing. The staff were extremely kind and professional. I was given tea at check in, and it was great. The main reason I decided this specific hotel was for the deep soaking bathtub. I've stayed at a few places with tubs, and they are nothing compared to the one we had in our room. It was modern, spotless clean, and the flow rate on the faucet was perfect. Allowing you fill it very quickly. I had the best steak I've ever had from Quiora, one of the restaurants on the property. I was able to make a reservation about an hour before on my phone, which was extremely convenient. As was everything at the hotel. Extremely convenient. I'd definitely love to stay here again.

FAQs about hotels in Honolulu

A True Water Sports Paradise

Standing proudly on the island of Oahu in the Pacific Ocean, Honolulu is the Hawaiian capital, meaning "a sheltered bay." Spreading along the white sandy beaches and supported by the strong back of the volcanic mountains, it's a real island paradise.

Honolulu's most popular and famous district, Waikiki, features the stunning Waikiki Beach decorated with hundreds of surfboards, palms and lounge chairs. It’s also a center for the city’s nightlife and shopping, especially along Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenues.

As the most popular activities in Honolulu include surfing, snorkeling, canoeing and other water sports, it's no surprise the city has a number of sandy beaches. Try Hanauma Bay, a crescent-shaped beach with rolling, green hills behind it.

For fans of hiking and exploring, nature awaits at Diamond Head Mountain, a volcanic tuff cone where you can admire the panoramic view of the city. There is also the Bishop Museum with the world’s largest collection of Hawaiian and Pacific artifacts and the Waikiki Aquarium with over 490 species of marine fauna and flora.

From hotels near Honolulu International Airport to hotels near the beach, Booking.com has plenty of properties, from cheap to luxury, for your Honolulu trip.

Fun and beautiful place to visit. Ample things to do. Food, attractions all cost more than what you'd expect on the mainland. We had a rental vehicle and used it only to get to distant sights. Mostly we walked in Honolulu and all of our bus tours picked us up at nearby, walkable locations. We loved the whole island tour with snorkeling on north shore. The Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie was a definite highlight with great food, show and wonderful walk-through villages.

Honolulu itself is a bit ovewellming, big city, 5 line highways, not really island vibes., But the rest of Oahu is really worth a visit, we found some beaches far away from the city, which were really beautiful and having plenty of space.. Pearl Harbour should be on the list to vist for its historical significance.

We had two stopovers one of 4 days the other only 1 day.

We had two stopovers one of 4 days the other only 1 day. We stayed at a hotel in Waikiki Beach, did a beach day, bought a Wiki bus ticket and rode the buses around the beach area (if you want to climb/walk at Diamond Head you need a separate booking for this) and into Honolulu city, with commentary from bus driver, another day and rented a car for around the island day trip on last day before dropping back at airport. This was a good length of time as not really wanting to spend more time on the beach. Second stop over was only 1 day so we stayed at the Airport Hotel with a shuttle and spent our day at the Pearl Harbour site which we accessed by local bus. Easy to self guide here dont need to buy expensive tour tickets. Both were good stays for us - if I was going for a beach holiday I think I would choose a resort to stay in.

It was a very short stay.

It was a very short stay. I was here to attend a high school reunion and that’s it. I was born and raised in the Wahiawa town area and left in 1965. But I return home for about once or twice every year. I love everything about Hawaii, not just Honolulu itself.

I am born and raised in Hawaii and took my daughter back to show her where I came from. I live in Australia. Did the big real local vibe but needed some tourist action. Love the hotel love the room… But Waikiki is something I will do only on the occasion. Room was amazing and views were incredible, but everything else was just a bit chaotic. Hospitality of staff was incredible! on my return, I will always connect to this hotel/resort. 🌺❤️

Even though we arrived in the hotel earlier the woman in the reception let us check in earlier. It was really helpful as we have been exhausted when we arrived. This woman on the reception also kindly let us stay in the reception and their pool until we need to leave for our evening flight next day. She was really nice. As the hotel is located in the cheaper area, we could eat and buy stuffs cheaper than more touristic area like Waikiki.

The hotel has great ambience topped with the super friendly staff. The room was a decent sized for three people. The location of the hotel is on point - right off Waikiki Beach and a stone throw away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. The hotel provided us with beach paraphernalia - chairs floats which was great for a days on the breach. On the beach items like that cost to hire.

Accommodation in Waikiki (and all Hawaii) is super expensive, so nowhere is cheap. But, compared with other hotels this place represented good value. Staff were awesome, location was great. The pool and bar area were really nice and relaxing - an oasis with palm trees to retreat to from the Waikiki traffic and noise.
