Wow what can I say about this fantastic boutique hotel?! It was so wonderfully located, amazing customer service from bar, breakfast and front desk. Room was immaculate. Normal small per European standards but adequate for a few days. Great they had an elevator as well had luggage. Strong water pressure. We had an interior room but still had a nice view of the busy street. Enjoy this place!

Food, Fado and Fun in Lisbon

Built on seven hills facing the Tagus River, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It showcases unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.

The city is famous for its districts: Belem's famous monuments; Alfama's labyrinth of streets, bars and small shops; and trendy Alcantara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in Baixa.

Enjoy a walk through Jardim Botanico, admire the architecture of the Jeronimos Monastery or explore the Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese cuisine. No meal is complete without the famous pasteis de nata!

Getting to the city center is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cozy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your vacation in Lisbon.

The transport pass is a good idea even though it seems expensive. It simplifies things. Lisbon is a large city with many areas to visit, many quite lovely, the people are very nice, and there are oodles of cafes and restaurants although, I think it is becoming harder to find a good Portuguese restaurant. Riding the tram was fun but pick your time as the locals use it to get to work and return home. Easy transport to Cascais and to Sintra. In Sintra get the hop on hop off deal at the train station. Worth it. Loved the Quinta da Regaleira a 12 minutes walk from the centre.

The first impression was the people, all of them are really nice and welcoming. Furthermore, we took a personalized tour that took us to the Belem Tower, then to the new town, and finally to the old town. Very nice views, and great history. I liked the most the market at the Rossio Square. I didn't like that it was difficult to find options besides sea food.

My recommendations - - Sintra and Pena day trip 10/10

My recommendations - - Sintra and Pena day trip 10/10 - Go through to Belem - Taxi was 10 Euro from Rua Augusta - Sunset Cruise - book on the day of travel - too exposed if raining. - Lapita Pizzeria is amazing one of the best we've tried ever. - Roof-top bar visit is a must (there are plenty) - Bonjardim Piri Piri is excellent - expect to queue but they are quick. - Fada show - interesting from musical, cultural and social history. - Best Pastel de Nata (cakes) in Lisbon we tried was Manteigaria – rated as the probably best in Lisbon., one is on Rua Augusta. - Get Uber or Bolt App on your phone - very cheap for Taxis.

First time to Lisbon. Friendly vibrant city. Good mix for everyone. Not too busy with people but enough to enjoy sitting at a cafe watching the day go by. Shops, cafes, restaurants in every street. Very safe and full of energy. The castle was good to visit. Great views of the city and waterways. Will definitely visit again.

Lisbon is a good city to visit with a lot of things to see.

Lisbon is a good city to visit with a lot of things to see. The pavements were rather grubby and often a bit smelly, and I dread to think what ended up on the soles of my trainers. The machines to buy tickets for the metro occasionally took my money but I didn't get a ticket. Therefore only buy one ticket at a time. I went in the first week of June and the temperature was 30-34 degrees centigrade, which was too warm for me. If I return to Lisbon, I would go between October and March.

Fantastic location - although I was in Lisbon for work, I still had tourist inclinations. The hotel could not be better placed for access to everything in the area a tourist would demand. I paid a little extra for an upgrade and it was worth every penny. The very quiet room had an “office” area and a fantastic shower in the bathroom. There wasn’t much to see through the windows, but I was there to walk around. One of the best breakfasts ever. More a boutique hotel with some facilities, but a wonderful stay.

This hotel had everything I like: nice, stylish room, super comfy bed, up-to-date bathroom with fabulous shower and plenty of hot water, friendly and helpful staff, best gin and tonics in town at the bar, and marvelous food in the restaurant including one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had. It was worth a lot more than I paid as travel isn’t quite back to normal yet. Also, convenient location to get anywhere in Lisbon. I took the train up the coast several days and it was easy.

The staff was some of the most friendly and forthcoming that I have ever encountered in a hotel. And I mean every single person working there. Most 5 Star hotels aren't this friendly or helpful. 11/10 for Service!!! Location is amazing too! A small walk from old town center, but directly behind Lisbon's main high-end shopping avenue. Room size and facilities and cleanliness were fantastic. Everything exceeded expectations. I really wonder why this hotel doesn't have 5+ stars....

Well, don’t want you, all readers, to get it wrong, but this class of hotels are not usually available in this applications. It’s the best hotel by far, that I have been in. It is what a 5 star hotel should be. Besides that It’s brand new, the staff at front desk are just pristine. I ordered what I thought just a regular breakfast with granola-maple syrup-bananas-dry fruit etc, and I just had a explosion of flavors in my mouth, the ingredients are the best quality and freshness.

Nice spacious rooms. Bit outside of the city centre, but with the metro very close this is a perfect location for a Lisbon city trip. Comfortable beds. No sound from outside. Which surprised me, as it's a busy street and aircraft fly really low over the hotel. Easy reachable from the airport. I used the metro, which in hindsight was not even the best solution. Metro takes about 40 minutes, where the bus would take only 15.
