I loved Horley. Horley had a "personal feel" to it.
I loved Horley. Horley had a "personal feel" to it. I loved the fact that the underground went right to Horley. Horley is also close to London Gatwick. You can get to London in around 45-60 minutes yet have the peace-and-calm of the suburb. The people were very friendly. Great hotel for a stopover when travelling through Gatwick airport. Best bits were the room which was clean adequately equipped and comfortable. The restaurant food was fair. We had a chicken schnitzel which was well cooked and moreish but lacked a little flavour. Very friendly owners and staff. Area is super quiet but a stone's throw from practically everything. Bus-stop to Gatwick Airport a few steps away. Horley Railway Station within easy walking distance. An excellent choice both for travellers from/to Gatwick for an overnight stay but also for people like us that enjoy having Horley as their base for a longer stay. Great value for money.
