Our stay at Park Plaza County Hall London was truly memorable. We loved that our suite had two separate areas (a comfortable living room with a TV and a cozy bedroom with another TV), both offering breathtaking views of the London Eye. The location is simply perfect, just a few steps from Westminster Bridge, the London Eye, and Waterloo Station, making it the ideal base for exploring London’s most iconic sights.

My stay at the Tower was wonderful — very comfortable with an amazing view right from my room. The highlight was watching the Tower Bridge open, which was such a special experience, especially as it was my first time in London. The location is perfect, with many attractions nearby, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. I was traveling with my husband, sister, and three children (ages 15, 9, and 3), and it was a great experience for all of us.

The customer service was phenomenal! We stayed once before and it was so nice and family friendly we returned for a long holiday. My 2 1/2 year old son is not invisible, the staff welcome him, he has an incredible breakfast, loves playing with his hot wheels in the room while looking at the cars drive by. The staff throughout the hotel are just so friendly! Especially dog friendly because our fur son was also with us and he is greeted by animal loving staff. All the room service for my child was free, for example ordering warm milk evenings and mornings. There was a night we needed some diapers and luckily the hotel had some, it was not something they regularly have they said but that night they had some, lucky us because it saved us a trip from having to walk to the store when we were pretty beat from exploring around. Hyde park is across the street with plenty to do, playground to the left, fountains to the right, Diana’s memorial water fountain, cafes and ice cream everywhere.

The room was in the basement, there was no window, which is fine with me but, it was 100% fire trap. If there was a fire in the central hallway upstairs there was no way out and no way for anyone to break a window and get in.

The location is terrific, accessible to many Underground stations, taxis, Uber, and walking distance to so many things. The hotel was also exceptionally quiet for the area. It was cozy; our room was small, but it was efficient and exactly the right landing place for us during this quick trip to see West End shows and walk around all day. The staff were terrific, very friendly and helpful! We will definitely come again.

London is a truly great place to visit; the theatre, the history, and the people all make it delightful. However, whatever your budget is, increase it by 50-100%. London is very expensive. A full breakfast starts at 50 pounds and goes up. You can spend your time complaining about it, or just accept that is the price for visiting one of the most unique and exciting cities in the world. ENJOY!

Very easy access transport, lots to do , and good choices of restaurant, four seasons Chinese restaurant very good and Nandos very good lunch, there are lots of free things to do like museums, and Regents park is a oasis in central London. Enjoyed coal drop yards in king's cross, and went to Greenwich which made a nice day out, people in shops and supermarkets were more than willing to help and London transport staff was very good for giving us directions. Even if you are a solo traveller people engaged with you and recommended places like Francis Crick ,wellcome museum and canal walk overall you can adjust your holiday to your budget by being a bit savvy.

An excellent all round location with something to suit everyone. I visited with friends and we had a wonderful time visiting various landmarks from the Tower of London to the Shard. Olympic Park, Buckingham Palace and Downing Street to a cruise on the Thames. It is easy getting around on the tube or in a black cab or the hop on, hop off sightseeing tours. We used Ubers most of the time and they were reasonably priced especially if a group were travelling. Several theatre shows had tickets available at the last minute, for a variety of budgets. We visited Oxford street, Knightsbridge, Kensington High Street, Sloane Square, Regent street, Covent Garden and Camden Market. These were all good for shopping and we even indulged in a cocktail or glass of champagne to keep us going throughout the day. An excellent all round location to visit.

The weather was pleasant and sunny.

The weather was pleasant and sunny. In the most popular places there were so many people. A bit too crowded this time of year (August) for me. I would like to return during off-season for tourists. I most enjoyed walks in Kensington Park in the early morning, local pubs, the Lion King, and visiting St Paul’s Cathedral, attending services there, and climbing 528 steps to the dome for extraordinary views of the city.

London is expensive, lively, full of fabulous architecture and history. West End theater is world class. The English are warm and friendly decent people. In recent years most popular attractions began requiring timed entry tickets at a significant cost. We paid about $60 for the two of us to enter St. Paul’s Cathedral. It keeps the crowds down and helps with maintenance costs, but seemed exclusionary. Also, having to plan your day way in advance is a bit restricting. Paris is the same way.
