Claudio, the owner and manager of Antico Sipario, is contagiously enthousiastic and very, very hospitable. In addition, he's full of tips about the surroundings. You can ask anything you want to know about the region. Breakfast is a mix of local specialities (including the family's own olive oil) and contintental breakfast. You can ask for more or less of any of the ingredients and vent your own wishes.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it's the perfect base for exploring the Puglia region. So welcoming! A very grand hotel with large rooms and luxurious furnishings. The photos do not do it justice. Arrival drinks on the verandah were fun! Francesca was friendly and helpful. Great local restaurant within 2 minutes walk for dinner. Delicious breakfast with good espresso, cakes, fresh fruit, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, bread, pastries, cold meats, juices. You will not be disappointed when you stay here.

Everything, the view was exceptional

Staying at Pascaraymondo wasn’t a hotel stay - it was being welcomed into a family’s 16th-century home, and treated like part of it. Giuseppe and Fernando anticipated every need before we even asked, from helping with the garage and transport to insider tips that shaped our best days in Salento, and their mother’s breakfasts were pure love served on a terrace overlooking the sea. The palace itself is stunning —l-history in every wall, steps from the beach - but it’s this family’s dedication that turns it into an experience you leave already missing. Grazie di cuore - we’ll be back.

Our stay at this incredible castle hotel was nothing short of magical. The grandeur of the castle, the beautifully preserved architecture, and the breathtaking surroundings created an unforgettable first impression. The food was absolutely divine. From rich, locally inspired dishes to indulgent desserts, the dining experience was a highlight of our stay. The drinks menu was just as impressive, with expertly crafted cocktails and a wonderful selection of wines. What made the trip even more special was how welcoming and exciting it was for our children. Sleeping in a real castle was a dream come true for them! They were completely enchanted by the historic rooms, winding staircases, and the sense of adventure that came with every corner of the property. The staff made sure they felt just as pampered and special as the adults, which we deeply appreciated. This was more than just a hotel stay—it was an experience filled with wonder, luxury, and warm hospitality. We can’t wait to return and relive the magic all over again.

Paola has been a great host, showing us around in the apartment and sharing about the history and sights to see in Golferenzo. She also helped us reserve a table at one of the restaurants she recommended. Breakfast was superb and well thought out.

Albadamare well exceeded our expectations for the trip! The staff were absolutely incredible and went over and above to make our stay memorable and comfortable. Antonella is amazing and provided so much information about what to do in the area. Breakfast was also superb with a wonderful view over the Amalfi Coast.

The breakfast was excellent. So much variety and all incredibly delicious. The lap pool was so refreshing and the extra relaxing pool and lounging chairs were great. We came for a road cycling holiday, and the hotel had everything you would need for biking - they connected us with a bike shop for rentals, provided us bike lights that we have forgotten, and had pamphlets on so many rides to do that left straight from the hotel. Also great bike storage and a bike maintenance area for upkeep + bike wash station. We also did the wine and olive oil tasting, which was terrific. We will absolutely be back, can't say enough good things.

Very clean, modern, quiet and friendly staff and very good food

It was a truly amazing place, the hosts Walter & Sabine were lovely & couldn’t be more helpful. Every recommendation for sight seeing or restaurants were brilliant. All staff were so friendly & made you feel at home. They have thought of everything, it is such a beautifully renovated home, so much history & charm but with every modern luxury. The pool was amazing as was the sauna area. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local produce. The rooms were enormous, so tasteful with own kitchen, huge lounge & free standing bath. I would highly recommend staying at this amazing property. I hope to return. - David and Kylie Toohey
