The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We were passing through and needed a night to stay. Poppy was an excellent choice. The caravan was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay including milk and tea/coffee. The caravan is positioned in a quite part of the site with easy parking. Passes were included but we did not have time to check out the swimming pool.

It is a caravan and so the noises on the roof (rain and others!) were a little disturbing in the night.

Great check in/out times which work well for 1 nights stays Daughter was attending college ball so location and 24 hour reception were main reasons for choosing this hotel Breakfast was ok , staff pleasant and efficient Reception area nice Our room at the back quiet in terms of outside noise

In room heating not working- bit cold until the radiators went on in corridor Eaves room cramped- realise that comes with nature of old building- feels a bit like staying in an old rambling college - not necessarily a bad thing Some breakfast items could be better- - orange juicy a bit watery, pastries also-ran, bacon and sausage cooked for being left out on display never the best Fair amount of corridor noise as guests come and go but bearable

Air con did not work (warned at reception). Had to have window open as too hot for 4 people in one room. Windows were filthy. Breakfast was chaotic experience, seemed very disorganized. Witnessed one staff member seating guests then as soon as they went for food another staff member would give the table away causing much embarrassment. Went up for food and no plates, asked 4 times and ended up getting jam on toast and carrying in my hands. Tried to get a latte from the machine, sat down and realized it was black, went back used the second machine same think again so gave up. Both machines in same small area as buffet so people queueing for hot drinks blocking people trying to get food, need relocated. Opted to just get orange juice and found this to taste awful like it was some sort of chemical.

Good central location, spacious, decent shower

Self catering facilities poor. We were planning to have breakfast in the flat as we had a very early start. no bread knife to cut bread & only a microwave. Extremely noisy - not through the walls but outside the door. Lots of noise in the hallway at all hours. Needs a thicker/sound proof door. Double bed very soft felt it would’ve collapsed with two people in it!
