It was in a great location, steps from Pulteney Bridge - not far from shops, restaurants and attractions. The hotel was really beautifully decorated - you don't often see "modern" hotels outside of London, so this was a nice find. The staff were incredibly accommodating. My room had everything to make me feel comfortable, and the bed was so comfortable.

It's a general complaint that the hotel can't do anything about - getting my suitcase and bags up to the third floor was a bit cumbersome. They had a lift to the second floor, but I had to lug everything up the stairs to the third floor. I'm not going to fault them for that, as they did retrofit the property to include a lift to get guests partway there. For those who have issues lifting heavy baggage, I'd simply ask for a room on the first or second floor.

Good variety for breakfast. Excellent location near to the naval dockyard and the outlet shopping at Gunwharf Quays. Very happy to have been given an upgrade of hotel room.

The room was very warm ( yes it was a beautiful sunny day ). A fan would have been nice or an AC Unit although our climate doesn't really merit it.
