The views were absolutely stunning, sitting in the evening looking at the lake and being able to have my morning coffee watching the lambs and little ducks. It was so tranquil. The hut was cosy but still spacious. Hot tub amazing, very warm. We were even able to jump back in the following morning with a nice cup of coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable too.

2nd stay in this hotel working locally. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, breakfast was made to order and very good with lots of choice, parking available right opposite the hotel, evening meals were great, free Wi-Fi with login. Everything you need in one place, would highly recommend.

The only very minor thing I could mention in the 'What didn't you like section' is that on this visit I stayed in the main building (on my previous stay I stayed in one of the rooms in the courtyard with a walk in shower). The room I stayed in in the main building had a bath with a shower head that was a little low to comfortably use.

Exceptionally clean, beds comfortable, staff helpful & friendly. Location is excellent & parking normally easy (currently less than £10 for 24 hrs, & for those with electric cars there are charging stations). I have stayed here several times now. Good value.

The hotel is right in the centre of Hay and has good parking (through a very narrow gap). The food was good and the building has lots of character.

Excellent room...large and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Dog was provided with a bed and bowl which was a nice touch.

It was very noisy throughout the night...lots of merry people returning from nightclubs. Then at about 6am the bin men came to empty bins and recycling areas. Car parking was also an issue.

The first room was over bar.Till 2am no sleep. Second was better.Noise isolation is an issue here.
