The welcome and friendliness of the hosts, location was good for accessing the beach and promenade, good recommendations on where to go for an evening meal. Clean and tidy. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts.

NO NATURAL LIGHT. I left as soon as I could to get alternative accommodation. It was a pleasantly appointed dungeon. Rules for rental say that bedroom needs proper window, not one into the windowless laundry room.

The bed was small but comfortable and staff were pleasant.

The room I was given was for someone with a physical disability, which neither guest had. The room was shabby with almost no natural light and the bathroom had a shower seat which wasn't clean. It had definitely seen better days, possibly the last room in the hotel to be rented?? I was unaware the there was an alarm/notification-button in the room (the bathroom one was obvious - red pullcord), my child set it off by leaning his pillow against it. Staff then came to the room, knocked to gain entry, there was alot of confusion why there were 2 men outside my room trying to gain access. I wasn't properly dressed, so there was shouting through doors until I understood and was able to reset the alarm myself. If this is the best that can be done for someone with a physical disability, it's very grim. The location of the room was beside a passkey entrance which was very noisy as the door closed plus small children ran up and down the corridor from about 7-8am, presumably whilst their parents slept

Location okay.

Room bore no relation to the photographs, small, grey and pokey when the photographs showed space and colour . Only one front lift working for 9 floors, waited for ages. Hotel dirty with litter and finger nail on lift floor for 24 hours. Paid £215 a night in advance but offered on Booking.com at £129 for the night we were there. Never book in advance. No lounge, bar, restaurant or anything. Kitchen facilities in tiny bedroom really poor.So
