Lovely renovated cottage. Very well stocked kitchen with good quality appliances, crockery and cutlery. Good WiFi. Good heating. Comfortable beds. The over bath shower has very good pressure but it is a bit low. The owner was very helpful. I would highly recommend this cottage. Steeped in history In a very interesting part of Derbyshire

Note that this is an 18 century cottage and not surprisingly the stairs are narrow and steep. It would be snug if accommodating 6 people.

Friendly staff. Free parking in fair sized carpark. Location perfect for our needs, (albeit a little bit out of town). Room was quite small, but clean, comfy and warm. Food was average 'pub grub'. Staff were very attentive and helpful in resolving problems.

No lift! Promised ground floor room, but sadly this didn't happen. Overall, a bit shabby - definitely in need of both basic maintenance and redecorating.

the bathroom was a bit small and although the decoration was nice, the mirror with shelf in it wasn't functional because the wood is not made to be wet. so its pretty but not functional. and a little bigger table for the water cooker would be functional too but those are just miner details.

Good location, close to Crewe train station. Friendly staff and spacious rooms which were clean, comfortable bed., and a reasonable price.

late check-in but could not enter hote as door was locked. Though a glass door no body could see me as no one was in the reception. Went around the circumference of the hotel and luckily saw an hotel guest reading a book. kept tapping the glass dorr to draw his attention to open the door but he went inside the reception office as no one was standing at the reception to bring a person. Finally a hotel person arrived after 30 min of standing in the cold breeze of 5 deg Celsius. Secondly, we were all the delayed passengers arriving into London with lost baggages and we did not carry any baggage with us other than a laptop bag. So when asked if the hotel had a night dress or atleast a bathrobe to sleep-in for the night, they did not have anything other than a towel.

Great location... but that's about it.

Extremely disappointed with our room and stay at My Brighton. We got allocated the "Haven" room which has seen better days to say the least. Carpets are filthy, window was smashed, everything was very tired and could do with a freshen up. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay and for the price we paid I was expecting at least something.

Quiet location, excellent for walking.
