Nicely decorated, very clean, old lodge in an excellent location. The room and bathroom are on the larger size. Convenient on-site parking. Very good breakfast made to order. Strict check-in and breakfast reservation times. It's an older building, so there is no lift.

The bed was wat too small for two people, my wife and I didn't sleep all night bumping into each other. It was not a double size bed, otherwise I would have given them a higher rating. If you're from the US, the UK hotels and Inns don't provide wash cloths, so we always bring our own; I don't know how they wash their face and body?

The property was immaculate and extremely well equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable I don’t remember sleeping so well away from home , loved the sound of lambs instead of the M62 on waking up , would have happily stayed longer

There were only 2 problems with the property , as I took my mum away for the night the steps on entry were a bit difficult for her to navigate without a hand rail and she would have preferred a separate shower as she couldn’t get in and out of the bath safely as she can only use one arm properly as for myself being a young whippersnapper at 53 I didn’t have a problem with either

Breakfast was lovely and staff so friendly they made our stay very welcoming, from the reception to the restaurant, we stayed at the hotel due to hospital visit close by, the staff were so kind and friendly helping our situation x

The location, just opposite Albert Dock, was excellent. We could easily walk over to the various bars and eateries and it was close to Pier Head where we took a boat trip on the Mersey.

We thought the room was quite basic, Ie no real dressing table with mirror/sockets to get ready for night out. Only mirror was directly out side bathroom door with no socket ( had to use bedside socket) and no light. So when my husband was in bathroom I was putting makeup on virtually in the dark. Also we went to see James Blunt at utilita arena when we got back to hotel at 10.45 ISH managed to buy a drink at bar but told it was closing which seemed very early for a hotel bar. Breakfast was ok nothing special if I'm honest, on second morning there was no artisan bread available (not a huge issue I know but would have been nice) just a few small baguettes in the artisan bread basket. Asked a member of staff but they had run out, this was at about 9.15 on a Monday morning. Breakfast 🍳 n other Radisson hotels we've used has been exceptional . Overall an ok stay but when we've used Radisson hotels before they have been a much higher standard.

Room 21...complained to reception and was moved room 24. Spoke to Liza, General manager about the cleaniness and she advised that there was a new cleaning team...! Holes in bathroom door, so much dust on table you can run your finger through it, mould all over shower walls, limescale covered shower head, stains on chair, stains on linen on coffee tray, excessive heat from towel rail that two open windows and a fan could not cool. Management turned off but it came on again at 6am next day, mirrors and tv completley smeared so you couldnt see. Moved to room 24. bathroom bin not emptied for 3 days, smeared tv and mirror, long cobwebs hanging from both beams. Hand towel not left after cleaning, after an hour noone had brought one up, no tea/coffee left the next day. Water marks from skylight to door frame where rain has come in. Interviewing prospective employees in guest lounge with guests in there!
