  This was the best Scottish breakfast we've had yet. It seems the further we get from Edinburgh, the better as far as breakfasts go. The location was perfect for visiting Balmoral. A quiet village with all you'd want. We ate at the pub and had a few drinks. The food was terrific.

  Modern and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Fabulous food in the diner but best to book. Great to see local toiletries being supplied. Hairdryer and straightener in the room.

  No window to open only air con which came up error overnight so room was stuffy. I found the bed too hard. Both of these comments are personal preference. No kettle in the rooms, water station in the corridor.
