Super friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel with a nice bar and restaurant and very well located. Our room was beautiful very clean and comfortable, large bathroom and shower. High quality sheets and towels, everything about this hotel is luxurious. But the nicest thing was the Happy Birthday Ballon and delicious piece of cake that was waiting for us in our room :). These little extra nice touches make you come back again. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Old House is in a charming spot in the middle of Llangynwyd. It is not cheap, but it very well looked after with good in-room facilities, serves excellent breakfast and was, on balance, worth the price. The ales are well kept and properly served and the car park is vast.

The location necessitates a walk up from the Maesteg or Garth, if you're on foot, but it's not unpleasant unless it's raining.

The bed was very comfortable, which for me is the most important thing. The flat is in a great location around five minutes from the Winter Gardens. Great communication from the incredibly helpful owner. The area around the accommodation felt really safe and welcoming.

Room is small but well designed and has everything you need for a short stay in Manchester, close to the train station and city centre.

The air-conditioning was noisy and impossible to control. Turned it off.

Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly . Car park next to the Ibis was really helpful and not expensive for London
Negative section of review
The room was like a prison, the toilet was a box the shower you could be watched due to the massive hole in the door and the frosted glass was pointless. The TV kept randomly turning on and had to turn it off at the plug and the room was like a sauna

Food was great and most staff were amazing except one was a job worth but very friendly though.

The toilet was broken during the night but everything was sorted in the morning. So no problem at all.
