We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Ngoma Zanga Lodge, Caroline and Kennedy are both so friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay and were always willing to help in any way they could to make our holiday perfect. The property is really well maintained and kept clean, the decor in the rooms, reception area and dining room/bar is lovely and authentic and the pool area is beautiful. Load-shedding is a new issue in Zambia however the staff had managed to adapt and minimise the issues that it caused and a generator was installed by the owner a few days before we left. We wouldn't hesitate to return and highly recommend Ngoma Zanga Lodge!

Location was really good , rooms where nice and clean , good all round , their was a new gentleman on reception I think it was his first day , he was super polite , really well spoken , kept apologising because he was new . He was a credit to the company

Police seemed to have been called during our stay. We got the impression it isn't the safest hotel as a result although we had absolutely no problems ourselves, if you are of a nervous disposition I would avoid. If you're used to big city vibes, you'll be fine.

never met the hosts. keys were not in box but building was open and keys on table. Main issue - the bed was extremely uncomfortable - urgently needs a new mattress - somewhat comical as we both just rolled into the middle as it sank! - Also no oven on site - the microwave does have a "oven" setting but after 8 minutes this overheats and trips for about 10 minutes - so no lasagne for us! The wi-fi tripped at 7pm on second night and never came back but we didn't report it as mobile cover ok. The building probably needs a new sofa /settee its small for two and somewhat slippery being old leather. Short walk to house not an issue - but the main gate urgently needs repair as the whole gate has to be lifted up and the latch at the same time - my wife could not do it.

Paying over £19 for breakfast when I am not a big breakfast eater. Also the plug on the wash basin in the bathroom got stuck and won't drain away.
